When I said good-bye to my mother three years ago I told her, "it's going to be a while before I see you again." I really didn't think a while was going to be three years. That's how much time I needed to get my life together. The best lesson I learned in my new hometown is to love what you do. These last three years I've been writing daily and finally everything is coming together.
