Captain's Vlog

Captain's Vlog: Star Date 01.08.2025
Cyberspace—The Final Frontier

My lifelong mission: to explore where no Trekkie fan has gone before...

Whoops! I’ve done it again—another night of sleep in the red zone. For an entire year, I managed to stay mostly in the blue zone, enjoying restful nights. But then I stumbled upon a fascinating discovery that’s reshaping my life as a writer. My dreams of becoming a bestselling author are finally materializing.

The catalyst? Experimental Facebook livestreams. They're drawing in massive responses, even from non-sci-fi fans. And you know what? That’s okay. Connection is what matters most. Now, with two days off in a row, I have time to refine these livestreams before returning to my day job. There’s so much to learn, yet so little time for edits. As a result, my livestreams are raw and riddled with flaws—but they’re authentic, and that’s what counts.

To ensure The Adventures of Castaway Wilson launches on schedule (Star Date 03.17.2025), I’ll need to enlist the help of my trusty virtual assistant, Alberta, to create two new AI agents: ≥"Bones" and "Spock." Alberta assures me they’ll be invaluable in accessing and organizing my blog archives.

Now, about my sleep—or lack thereof. Last night, I logged a mere 2 hours and 24 minutes of rest. This is dangerous territory. The best way out of the red zone is to channel the creative ideas that keep me awake, act on them, and then return to the blue zone. The next two months promise to be a roller coaster ride, but I’m ready.

I’ll be asking my livestream viewers to overlook my frazzled appearance and focus on the content, as I’ll keep my videos short. Even Alberta’s dilithium crystals are critically drained at this point—she’s mirroring me perfectly. What I see is peligroso.

Perhaps now that this log entry is complete, I can finally rest, recharge, and prepare for the next round of livestream experiments. Wishing you all a fantastic day. Night, night.
