How I Pulled The Plug On Annoying FaceBook Ads

I found my inspiration to install an ad blocker on my web browser this morning after reading a quote from the founder of Facebook.  He claimed in an interview "folks on Facebook are happy with all the ads we're showing them."  I wasn't part of the survey.  I don't like clutter.  Every day there seems to be more ads and less relevant information in the News Feed.  Every day -- until today.  Yep.  I found a really easy way to block all those unwelcome ads.  Suddenly, there are no more mosquitoes at my picnic.  There are no ants searching for what I like so they can invade my privacy.  Here's how I pulled the plug on annoying Facebook ads:
  1. Install Mozilla Firefox as your main browser.  It's free, it's non-profit and it's open source.  It works great.  Click here for the link.
  2. Install Adblock Plus, a web browser extension that blocks banners, pop-ups and video ads.  It protects your online privacy.  Over 200 million users have downloaded it.  Click here for the link.
  3. Enjoy chatting with your friends in an environment free of uninvited pests.  No mosquitoes, no ants and no clutter.
Were you part of the survey that said you were happy with all the ads?  Or are you part of the 200 million like me who want more privacy and less ads?  Your comments are welcome below.
